what is the cheapest monthly rate for a car on Bali? I think I want something like jeep wrangler or alike.

Cheap rentals in Bali are likely to be cars like Avanza. Daily rates you can find on the web (http://www.balirentcar.net/) are Rp 260,000. For monthly rates you might get 2/3 of that - say Rp5,000,000 - but thats a pure guess.
