I have been quoted a fee of Rp 150'000 per one on one session of 1.5hrs now is this a fair amount or are there better options ?
tidak belum nego bert :)
i must add that i will be in jkt for these lessons so prices will reflect this, though 12 months ago the same person was asking rp 90'000 per session though im told prices have been going up in indonesia so i guess i did expect to pay more, should i try to negotiate a fee ?
i would much prefer tuition in a class room though thier fee's seem to be higher :|
That doesn't make sense to me. Me and many of my family have taught English in Japan and fees were always considerably more for one on one than for the group classes! I can't imagine in Bali it would be the reverse.i would much prefer tuition in a class room though thier fee's seem to be higher

ive been scouting the net and it seems to be reasonable the fee that is, i guess i was looking at say 3 sessions a week for say 8 weeks so would be looking at rp 3.6 mil seems alot compared to what you can get here in melbourne so i thought maybe try a class type course but they work out alot more but i really want bahasa not kasar as learning from scratch gives me the chance to belajar betul so im not wanting just a person who speaks b/i ....... i guess i will get there in the end
I wanted to get the rosetta stone program, but they didnt offer it in Bahasa.......
There is a level 1 of Bahasa Indonesia for Rosetta Stone - see it on AmazonOriginally Posted by froggy
