Maaf Oom Roy,
Now I have to read on another forum that you have opened your art gallery in Ubud. I feel neglected. I already told that regular contributors to this forum that a bit of promoton is allowed. Well you are a major contributor, so more then a bit is allowed.
I even offer you a few pages somewhere an this site, and ofcourse pictures from your Art Gallery are welcome on the pictures site. Or maybe you want a free website ? No problem...
Gee, a forum admin asking for advertisements, where does this lead too?
And I think that most of us missed the invitation to the opening party :(
Hear, hear!! :POriginally Posted by Bert
Thanks Om Bert! To be accurate, it’s more like “half” open. We are still waiting for the custom showcases for the antiquities section, and the Department of Archaeology just dropped off the certificates of authenticity and registration today.
It is located at the corner of Jalan Raya Lungsiakan Ubud, and Jalan Raya Kedewatan in north west Ubud. Our gallery is called “Mood Studio” in honor of the recently published book, “Ubud is a Mood.” Our modest gallery features the work of contemporary Balinese painters, augmented with a selection of authentic antiques.
Once we get the “bugs” all worked out, we’ll be hosting a retrospective exhibition of famous expat painter, Jason Monet. For that opening, we will definitely have a party! So, no worries, you haven’t missed anything yet. And for sure, I will soon be taking you up on your offer! Many thanks again!
Good luck with your new venture, Roy. I wish you every success, even though I'm green with envy.
Hey Roy...Moon Studio sounds wonderful! Best of luck to you.
Congratulations, Roy.
Best wishes on the success of the gallery, and here's hoping that I eventually get over to Bali to see it.
Bruce
Many thanks for all the well wishes! And Bert, many thanks again for your offer. See you and Dewi soon I hope.

good luck with the new shop roy. antiques are always intresting. some years back i was intrested in getting a genuine balinese keris, but there are so many fakes out there so i put it on hold.
