Looking around within my ususal contacts and trying to find out of there are any Sublimation garment printers on Bali. If anyone knows it would be cool if you could introduce me.
Cheers,
Mark.
would it be a problem if the printing toko is in Singaraja?
don't read between the lines..i think the words are clear enough...:)
If it's in Bali its viable. The main kicker is QUALITY. We have a huge potential International order and now after seeing the best screen print option we can do with boardshorts they are asking about DTG (direct to garment) sublimation printing.
Would be a great business venture too, the machines are around $20k a pop so looking into that. But for now, looking for options. Have heard its possible in Java but the quality is questionable.
Cheers,
Mark.
I have totally no idea about the quality...
but I asked a bikebuddy who has a printing shop here in Singaraja and he has the machine.
He honestly said to me that he haven't used in a while, but is in good condition so can be used.
And if you two can't come to terms, he knows someone else too...but again in Singaraja.
will PM the adress to you and his name. so you can contact him yourself, his english isn't fluent but understandable enough.

Cheers mate, will check for that.
We're talking a multiple $000 machine? It needs to work consistently to pay for itself. Just wondering if its been sitting idle if the ink lines are all fried? WIll contact him to find out.
Cheers,
Mark.
hihihi...trust me he's not that worried about $$$.
I know last month he bought another sort of machine (brandnew), printing is not my world so I have no idea whats it called or what it does exactly,
he just showed it to me and it was huge. It printed a flag/banner wich one could see in Balipos of today page 23...
don't read between the lines..i think the words are clear enough...:)
No worries, have written to him so will see what gives.
Cheers,
Mark.
Hey, gilbert de jong, can you send me the details for the sublimation printer too? I'm producing all my apparel execpt sublimated items in bali. I want to move everything from China and only produce in Bali if the quality is up to standard. I'll be back in bali May 3 and will visit the factory and do some sample runs then.
Cheers.
Hey Rogg,
I emailed Gilbert's contact but no response. As suggested he doesn't need the cash so maybe that's the reason!! What a great position to be in?
We've been in contact with the machinery supplier in Australia and looks like we're going to be ordering that to bring to Bali and expand our service here. Let me know if you want to meet up to discuss possibilities. The lead time on arrival once ordered is around 14 weeks.
Cheers,
Cam
