Thread: Information to start a UD

Hello,

i want to my help a indonesian friend to start a bussines in Bali.
First i was looking for starting a CV but then i saw that you need a building with an IMB.
My friend want to start the bussines in his own house but he doesn't have an IMB.
So now i am looking for a UD but i can't find any information about this,
when i google i only can find information in the Indonesian language.

Is there somebody who can help me to find information about starting an UD.

Go to a good notary, you won't need a IMB unless the type of business that you want to operate requires you to have one.
He will only need some ID to start a UD.

I'll add some more info to that thread once we get our KK, its taking a little longer than expected

If you come to bali as a foreigner(?). There are two ways to start a new business with legality aspect as an UD :
one you go (as fred2 said) to you (expensive way)
two you can try to find some infos locally, usually you can buy a local business so long you have special agreement with them (inexpensive way).
