    Default fiskal...

Can anyone tell me if my Indonesian girlfriend has to pay fiskal when leaving indonesia?

She has npwp cert. but it's over a year old - is this still valid.

She lives with me in Thailand, and her passport shows that she has not resided in Indonesia for 120 days (or whatever) during the last 12 months. She only goes back to renew her Thai visa.

She most definitely does not have access to my bank details, or any cards. 2 years now, & so far so good.

Tax returns are required every year.

When fiskal was still operating, I used my NPWP four times - twice they just photocopied it, so they would have no idea how up-to-date I was (at least till some time after). But other times they did some sort of on-line check, and presumably if my status was not up-to-date, then there would have been a problem.

Now there is no fiskal, I have to figure out whether to keep it up to date, or just forget it.

    Hi,
Tell to her to register first for tax department and get a tax registration number, This way she could be able to make her own bank account, This is the legal way that must be adopted.
    Thanks

You don't need a tax registration number to get a bank account, only an identity card if Indonesian and a Kitas if not.
