insurance for family
Hi all anyone knows a cheap and good insurance?
I saw alliance see :
Allianz Indonesia - SmartHealth Maxi Violet - Individual Health Insurance
there its written around 10.5 mio rups. for a german this lloks really good cause we pay in germany at the moment arount 8000 euro per year ( around 100 000 000 rups).
any other suggestion from the experienced ones?

8000euro/year is 667euro/month .... normal salary here on Bali is 100euro/month !
normally ONLY people with kitas have a normal insurance , most of us however have private insurances and those vary basically for a normal coverage from 1.250 to 2.500euro/year
best sometimes however is a travel insurance for a longer term ...

I do not need such an expensive insureance like the germany, i never used only pay. Anyway if you need help mostly insurance does not want to pay:)

Chris, one of the main reasons expats spend exhorbitant amounts of money for health insurance is the emergency flight evacuation coverage. In an emergency health situation the commercial airlines will refuse to allow you and I've heard that medical flights can cost up to $20,000. I have no idea about the money but I wouldn't want to be stuck in Bali with no reasonable way out in a medical emergency.Originally Posted by chris44
