Just as an aside I transferred a small amount of money via the internet banking as a test and it arrived in my account 36 hours later.
For me this is a great help as I can send money from my accounts here and in the UK rather than bringing in cash or travellers cheques.

Went to HSBC here in the UK and they were happier than Larry to start me out on an account that I can access in Bali. Now I don't know (and I'm still waiting on the answer from them) if there is a branch in Bali, although I do remember a previous thread where they (HSBC) were recommended.
There is no such thing as bad weather, there are just badly dressed people.
