No not very smart, you never know when big brother is watching. A good friend of mine, who has got houses in Bali & Jawa, got busted last year by those loverly people from the Dutch tax department. They found out via internet forums and images uploaded on myspace etc that he owned property in Indonesia. He ended up paying tax and a fine for it. :x

The thought that someone would a) read this forum and b) post a photo of me (65 pixels) and c) make a 24 hour watch on the airports I may enter fills me with dread. However for those people who may wish to maintain such a watch here is a message:

I now have a bank account and do not need to carry large amounts of cash in any currency with me.

As for large amounts of cash, Britain has no restrictions on the flow of money but may ask questions on extremely large amounts. I cannot speak for the states.
