You can probably also get a 60 day visa from the consulate in Scotland. Not sure how you will go without a return ticket though.last time i stopped over in jakarta and applied for normal 30 day visa there
You can always suck it and see. :D
Petenjo, must be all those rich miners taking all the seats. Just for interest I had a look at Jetstar. They have a flight from Perth to Denpasar for $487 and gets in at 9pm. Unfortunately it goes via Sydney.
Regarding Jetstar
Having to fly from Bali to Sydney to get to Perth sounds totally insane to me, (if that's true).
In addition, look very carefully at what you don't get without paying extra for it, like in-flight "meals", drinks, a blanket, and "entertainment".
You might not want these on a midnight flight out of Bali, but how about coming back?
I looked into this a couple of months ago while planning a trip to Sydney in December.
Unless one takes a more expensive option with them, you have to pay for your blanket, etc, both ways.
I gave up in the end but managed to find a cheaper fare with Garuda, somewhat surprisingly.
I have yet to experience a Jetstar flight personally, and probably never will, especially if they keep nit-picking like this.
"No-frills" flights are all well and good, until they sound ridiculous. They've lost me as a potential customer and I've yet to meet anybody with something positive to say about them.
The "conversation" usually ends up in laughter and pure disbelief.

Just to clarify that the fare quoted by Allan is for one-way only, as are all fares quoted on the Jetstar site.
Garuda return fares work out a good bit cheaper, in most cases.
Yes the Perth-Denpasar via Sydney example just shows how bizarre the economics of air travel is becoming. I don't understand how these companies can offer all those $1 fares and still make money.
BTW Ina and I flew Jetstar to Bali last July. The fare at that time was $830 return all up (each) which was cheap considering it was holiday season. It was also about $200 cheaper than Garuda. Maybe it was a promotion. There's so many fare combinations and it depends on when you book. It's getting as bad as mobile phone contracts trying to decide which is the best option.
We took our own food for the trip but because the flight to Denpasar was delayed by 12 hours due to fog we ended up getting two meals each for free and a $100 voucher each as well.
I was flat out before the trip trying to finish a contract job and "forgot" to get a visa (we were planning to stay 34 days). Normally changing the return dates would have cost an extra $1200 because it was a restricted fare. We got that for free as well. I don't know why Jetstar gets such a bad rap.
I wouldn't fly Perth to Denpasar via Sydney though if they paid me. :D
Denpasar to Sydney then to Perth to get to Perth in the first place still doesn't make sense to me...If the fare was one dollar, I'd consider it.
"Bizarre", in this case, doesn't even begin to cut it....Yes the Perth-Denpasar via Sydney example just shows how bizarre the economics of air travel is becoming...
And you were just plain "lucky", or something, with respect to this:
And I believed Garuda was exorbitantly priced and nearly immovable when it came to a "refund", even for a ticket they'd issued me in the wrong name....changing the return dates would have cost an extra $1200 because it was a restricted fare...
Live and learn, I guess.
