Seems like everybody uses an agent when renewing in Singapore but is it that laborious/time consuming etc if you do it yourself? I guess it'd be hard to get it done in one day but what about 2 days? Love to hear from somebody who doesn't use an agent.
Paper work in by 11.30am & pick it after 2pm the next day. total time with taxi to & from about 1 1/2 hours, you need to be will dressed no shorts & thongs. Go early morning & beat the rush then all day shopping with the wife![]()
I have done it myself in KL and they can do it in one day. Apply in the morning and pick it up in the afternoon.
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat drinking beer all day.
No thats with $65SGD, do it yourself fee? If your going to Singapore you may as well make it a holiday, take 3 days, you can find good cheap hotels, foods cheap but beer is western price.![]()
that sounds promising - agent fees X 4 gets a bit silly
as far as hotels go are there really good cheap hotels in singers?
we stayed in a cheapo last time and it was such a dive vowed never to do it again!
any recommendations welcome (and pls not lloyds inn, that was the aforementioned dive!)
thanks, phil
