Ok I can not find a post on this so I will ask.
I understand Work visa's but not Student visas and long term stays on Bali.
I will attend IALF school to Learn Bahasa,, great,,, now I need to fix the visa,,, ok,, I have my paperwork
but I come across this wording on the application for stays longer than 60 days,,,, I want to stay longer that 60 days.
"Written approval from the Immigration Office in Indonesia should the duration of visit is to exceed 60 days."
Anyone got experience in Bali on what to do after 60 days if I was on a student visa (real name cultural/social visa)
Or advice on the road to take to stay in Bali 5-6 months and not have Imagrasi problems..
I will not be working,, just Bahasa schoo andl maybe join a dive club and do some courses i need...
Thank you in advance
Sam
You'll need to apply for a social visa outside of Indonesia, nearest place will be the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore. For a social visa you need an Indonesian sponsor. Your school can most likely sponsor your visa.
You can aslo extend a social visa for a maximum of 4 times for one month each time making a total of 6 months.
