hello,
anyone here who had experience bringing their (lap-)dog from abroad to bali? anyone who knows the right officer who could help me get through immigration and avoid quarantine?
 *love my doggy*
thanks,
doglady
Why would you want to avoid quarantine.
Why not sneak in some fruit and eggs while you're at it.
my karma ran over my dogma
why would i want to bring eggs and fruits from switzerland to bali?
anyone serious here
any dog lovers maybe...
anyone who had the same problem not wanting to leave behind his/her beloved dog

What do you expect with a request like this? Dogs need to be quarantined as you probably know or checked out.Originally Posted by doglady
Do you want instructions how to bring yet another dog to Bali but don't want to follow regulations? Doubt you'll get a serious answer here but who knows.. you might get lucky
I suggest you contact Bali IDE

They have handled pets quickly and safely before.
Hi doglady,
I see you've got the info you needed on indonesialiving forum. So hope it helps you to weigh in on which decision to make but a happy end at that as I do understand your need to protect your loved one.
here are the contact details for you from a serious dog owner too.
Putu Ernawan in denpasar, his email is ernawanp@yahoo.com, he will organise everything for you in regard to quarantine etc. his no. is +62 3617449306.
i have found this out through another user on the forum who brought their dog from australia to bali and cost around $1000AUD and only a few days in quarantine.
good luck
Exactly. So why would you want to bring a dog?...why would i want to bring eggs and fruits from switzerland to bali?...
Close to a million (possibly more) homeless, neglected, abused ones here already.
If you're really going to spend a thousand bucks on this, think how far the same money could go towards Bali's so-called street dogs and the the dog-lovers here who are struggling to do something about their plight.
If you really care, of course.
Akshuallly,
I am thinking of buying a dog in Bali. A western type of dog, the KIND one...
We have had 2 yang asli now, and they are gone....
I think its time for a labrador of some sort :P
