Default about invitation letter again and something else

Hi guys!!! I need your help!!! i found the invitation letter which you linked here. But what kind of stamps should be on it? and where to get this stamp in Indonesia? My situation is so - my boyfriend is Indonesian, he just came back from the USA to Sumatra. He was not at home more than 7 years so everything is different for him and he doesn't know how to do the invitation letter. I send him the sample which i found somewhere here. But what should we do with the conformation? Where to stamp it? and one more.. I want to come for 2 month and i want to make a tourist visa. As it said in the Indonesian Embassy in Russian Federation (I’m Russian), i can apply for such a visa and instead of hotel reservation show invitation letter. So is it going to be the same invitation letter as for social visa, and instead of word “social” we need to write “tourist” and the purpose "tourism and to be familiar with culture and language through the Indonesian family" ???? I'm confused a little bit... Thanks a lot.

Welcome to the forum Marisha. I was unaware that a sponsorship letter was required for an advance tourist visa. But the stamp you are mentioning is called a materi stamp, and your boyfriend should sign his invitation letter over the stamp. As I recall, they are 6,000 Rp these days unless they've gone up again recently.

So is it going to be the same invitation letter as for social visa, and instead of word “social” we need to write “tourist” and the purpose "tourism and to be familiar with culture and language through the Indonesian family" ???? I'm confused a little bit... Thanks a lot.
If it’s not too inconvenient for you, I’d bring the sample letter you have to the Indonesian Embassy and ask them what changes to the sample should be made to apply to your specific situation. If the embassy is too far away, mail a copy of it to them and discuss it over the phone. Cheers and good luck with your long visit.

Thanks Roy!!!!! you gave a good explanaitions and advices!!!! However, you mentioned a matery stamp and, as I understand, it costs 6, 000 indonesian rupiah. But where exactly to pay for the stamp? Is it public notary? or it is another special place? (HE lives in Sumatra, Siantar) Thanks again!

The post office will have them, and they are still currently only 6k rupiah, per stamp.
