Hello,
Is it possible to apply for the 60 Day visitor visa with a Malaysian passport? I was going to use my CA pport but realized it is expiring less than 6 monthes and would be easier if I dont have to wait the 15 working days to renew that one....
Cheers
Best to check with the Indo Embassy in KL. Indonesia is so pissed off at Malaysia right now over issues relating to the true origin of some cultural aspects being “claimed” by Malaysia, that nothing would surprise me.
I have to admit though, those most recent “Malaysia Truly Asia” ads are slick and very well done.
You will Prob. get an answer similar to this (stay with it it gets hilarious)::: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLDgQg6bq7o
And now the Turbo Encabulator comes with a TWO years' parts and labor warranty :D
Keep on smiling.

heheh reminds me of how people nod their heads sideways in India....was that a yes or no?
just called the consulate in Hong Kong where I am flying next week and surprisingly the guy was very helpful, said I should just come and find out...better than a no I suppose :)
If this may be helpful to anyone else I went to the consulate here in HK and their take on 60 day visas for visa free countries is this:
some form of visa/id to be in hk
come back with a return ticket
a yellow form filled out with the contact phone and address of family you are going to visit
an attached letter explaining why you want 60 days
small pic
sounds like it would be no problem but it would still be easier to just do a visa run....
