Default 211 expiry date and duration of stay do not match

    Hi guys,

It was about time I started to think about the first renewal on our new 211s so I got it out to check the expiry date. It doesn't make any sense.

Date of issue Sept 29th 2011 - Date of expiry Dec 28th 2011 - length of stay 60 days.

I'd never looked closely at our other visas as the wonderful Made our previous sponsor had always called to say that renewal was due or we left our PP's with her. Sadly, Made passed away and we have a new sponsor.

Is this normal and I'm missing something obvious...I know I'm bad at maths but what the...

Can anyone help me shed any light on why this would be the case. I'm assuming that I need to renew as per the usual 60 days.

Got it in Sing with agent...if that is any help.

    Cheers

    Hi Latah.
I had the same thing with one of my visa's before issued in France for 60 days and i asked the Consulate if it was a visa for 60 days or 90 Days ?
I got the explanation that you have to come to Indonesia between the two dates, in your case your arrival should be between 29 September and until 28 December.
After your arrival you can stay 60 days.
    Hope this help.

    Best regards.

    Cool

Latah I think you will find that, you must enter Indonesia between sept29 & dec28. If you have not entered Indonesia by the 28 Dec you visa will expire & you will need to apply for a new visa.
The clock starts ticking the day you entered Indonesia, so you need to look at the entry stamp date. You need to extend before that date(60 days)
    I hope that helps
