Immigration Lawyer in Bali

Postby Anshu on Thu Jul 03, 2008 6:33 am

Hello all,

I am currently in Bali and seeking help for a spouse visa application for Canada. I am seeking a representitive or immigration lawyer familiar with the canadian visa application process.

I have emailed a few lawyers from Canada but have had no luck finding any refferals or contact info for someone in Indonesia.

any help is much appreciated!!!!

Thank you!

Anshu, if I'm not mistaken, was it you who needed something to enter Indonesia? And now, you need a visa application for your spouse to enter Canada? Correct me if I'm wrong, ok?
Why don't you call the Canadian Embassy in Jakarta to make this inquiry instead of wasting time and money calling lawyers in Canada. Ask if they have a website on this particular form so you could print it out and fill it up, then present it back to them in order to issue the visa.
Keep us posted.

Yes I was asking before about getting documents for getting married in Bali.... The wedding was amazing :D and now we are applying for my Indonesian husband to come to Canada. We are applying for a permanent resident visa.

I think I need to re-phrase my question...

Does anyone have first hand experience with a spouse permanent resident visa application or know of someone who has, who could point us in the right direction for a representative?

We are simply looking for someone who can help us fill out the forms so we make no mistakes. We completed an application already and sent it to my friend for review in Canada and she said there were many errors on it, and we should seek professional help. My friend has a friend who has appealed his visa application and has been waiting 3 years for his wife to come join him...

I want to make sure it is complete the first time we send it in...

So here I am asking for a hand from some experienced westerners who have been down this road before...Maybe I should head to Nurries for a martini  ...lol

I did email Bali IDE I will call them today....Thank you Roy
