Wedding in Bali...Accommmodation & Venue Suggestions

Postby nessie on Thu Apr 12, 2007 8:27 pm

Niece getting married in Bali, I have given her all the details re Bali Weddings etc....
But she want s a place where there are only a few nice villa's, so she hire the entire place for the night , have the Wedding there as well and then the guests, well most, can stay as well. She is looking at the Taman Wana, the one in Kerobokan, ( there is another further NOrth as well ) , but this one... has 3 large Villa's that will accommodate 20 people, so she can hire the entire estate for the night..

Any suggestions on similar would be appreciated from all you that live over there, hard to see properly on the net.

A nice villa (the only thing missing is a helicopter), probably the best cook on Bali, if you wanne look down on the private villas (with tiny private pools) of the Pita Maha Royal at the other side of the Ayung river - go there!

The images of the website won't give you an impression of the place, it's ten times better!

PS: landing with your private heli is possible on the tennis court

A beautifully situated place near Mengwi temple in the ricefields is Taman di Blayu. They have 6 one bedroom villa's, but there's also a house that can be rented out on the property. They specialize in weddings and can organise the whole package (official and/or ceremonial wedding). http://www.villatamandiblayu.com.

Another one that I know from own experience is Agga Citta in Seminyak, which has a larger capacity. http://www.aggacitta.com/. You can send me a pm if you want some help to contact them. The owners of both properties are friends of mine.
