    Default Tailor made shirts

hi there, i am looking to get some shirts coppied (and jeans). i know in Singapore you can arrange this in advance, via post. with fabric samples being posted out and originals being posted back. (ready for pick up when you arrive) does anyone know of this sort of service in bali?

    Hi guest......
don't know of any provider of a service such as that, but certainly once you're here the copying of your favourite shirts is very easily and economically done, either with a store business in Denpasar or a private seamstress, of which there are many - but check quality before ordering. Jeans would most likely need to be arranged with a different person or business; eg, a tailor. All can be done in very short time - when I got married here 13 years ago my suit and shirt were both delivered next evening!! Spend some time determining quality - it can vary from excellent to not-so-good, so make sure the person knows exactly what's required!

I totally agree with the last two posts. When off to Bangkok every six months, I always come home with many meters of fine Thai silk for me, my wife, our boys, and my wife’s family. The best seamstress/tailor I know is a wonderful lady right in our village. Her gifted hands turn these bolts of fabric into wonderful hand sewn garments.

Every priest in my village wears Thai silk these days...and they are all looking very good!

Thanks guys, i guess i should have said that iam not actually going to Bali, i wanted my mother in law to pick these items up for me... and it is a bit too much pressure to ask her to choose fabrics etc. i remember iut was so easy when we lived in asia, but we are now firmly rooted in australia, and i won't be traveling through any more.
