Seminyak rentals / hotels again!

My other post was locked for some reason so posting again as I am just looking for general advice and not specific adverts.

So for 60 days would I be better off renting an apartment or just staying in a resort like I have done in the past? Is it normal in Bali to have short rentals?

It is not normal to have short rentals. Usually houses and apartments are contracted for aminimum of a year, paid up front. You will need to look at tourist accommodation, villas, hotels, losmen etc if you only want two months.
