Default SE Asia in the 1970s

Hi everyone, i hope this doesnt put me into trouble for 'advertising' but i have found a great thread on Lonely Planet Thorn Tree Forum about SE Asia during the 1970's. Many of the posts relate to Bali. It's a great read, I'm always checking up on the new posts and hope that other people enjoy reading it as much as I have.

Great stuff ali. I first went to Bali in very late 70"s, and we used " The Lonely Plant" book as our guide. I think we paid about 2000 rp per nite for 2 people in a losmen down poppies lane. We even did the Surabya- Jogja train trip as suggested , wow.. what a ride!
Thanks for refreshing the memories ali :)
