Sanur recommendation

Hi guys, can anyone recommend a hotel in Sanur for AU$30-$40 a night?? Somewhere nice that a couple can chill out ... i have some friends going to bali but have no idea about Sanur!!!

charlie, I had friends from Switzerland staying at this small hotel very close to the beach. They liked it a lot and is very affordable. U can get a much better deal than the published rate (depending on the season). My friends got it for Rp 300,000 per night (last month), so well below the published rate. Here's the link:

Villa Puri Ayu sounds pretty good @ Rp300,000/night. I would also recommand the long-time established Bumi Ayu (not on the beach, it's on the other side of Jl Danau Tamblingan, across from Griya Santrian). I am sure you can negociate something under US$30/night, depending on your length of stay.

I have not stayed here but it has been recommended to me:-
Bali Senia Hotel, Jl Danua Poso, Sanur. (Southern end of Sanur) 110K/Rp/night. Has Air Con/Fridge/Tele/Hot Water.
