Is it safe for americans in Bali now? Does anyone have any knowledge of whether Americans are being harrassed or if safety is an issue. Thanks for your help.

I am an American who has been going to Bali for the past 15 years, and living there six months a year for the past 5 years and would say that Bali is safer than being in America and far safer than in a typical American city.

Honestly the rest of the world is safer than the U..S. You probably don't want to hear this, but it's true.

I am much more likely to harrass you than any Balinese.........

i've never been to america but to tell you the truth i'd be more "afraid" of traveling to america than to any other country in the world with a few exceptions...

i know if i was american this is not what i'd wanna hear, but still this is how it is for many people.
