Ah some stupids with a fake bomb....

Indonesian police have tightened security on the Indonesian island of Bali and called for heightened public vigilance after a fake bomb was found at a five star hotel in a popular tourist area.

They say a suspicious package was left near a fourth floor lift in a hotel in the Kuta tourist district, sparking an alert.

A police spokesman says the package contained no explosives but had all the necessary wiring, adding that it was clearly intended to "spread fear".

That's it, Bert !!!

Jill, just a suggestion, on your computer is certainly MS word, so why don't you activate the spell-check included in this program, write your posts on Word and copy them into the forum?
Should be really an improvement, I know what I’m talking about, because I am German!

Best regards

I just got curious about you since i find your picture intresting and beautiful. it looks like an early skagen(western denmark) painting. By reading your posts i assumed you weren't from new zealand, but i don't wanna assume things. i'm not a perfectionist when it comes to languages and rarely feel the need to correct anyone. it is quite rude to do so.. well, that's what i've been taught anyway and i live by it. as for the fake bomb i haven't heard anything.. "kuta" is quite famous for it's spreading of fake rumours.

Thanks again Tommy

This picture was taken at Tana Lot, glad you like it, Bert did the editing.

I was also told as a child that "If you are perfect you can criticise" or "if you cant say something nice shut up". I try to do just that.

As for rumours you know what I mean, sometimes the locals know more the the police.

I know I did when the big bombs went off, as I was there for the lot

I must admit I thought English was a second language for you because of all the mistakes. I do not think people are having a pop at you but are really trying to help.

Its not being rude to try and help someone and to see so many mistakes takes away from the value of your posts as people are distracted by the mistakes.

It takes almost no time to run a spell checker and the results will be pleasing to all.

Honestly trying to be helpful
