    Default From Kuta to Amed

    Hi!

    I want to go to Amed from Kuta and I don't know witch option is better.

    I'm traveling alone and I want to go there tomorrow, do you know a cheap option?

    Many thanks!

    Cheapest would be catching a bus.

    At a guess, driving time is 3 hr. So if you want a car to take you there and drop you off, the round trip for the car is 6 hr - a full day - costing Rp400,000 or more.

    The cheap option would be to get a motor cycle to take you (if not much baggage), but you would need to be brave.

    I thought of suggesting Perama Shuttle bus service via Candidasa or Padang Bai, but their website states that for the section from Candidasa or Padang Bai to Amed, a booking will only be accepted for a minimum of 2 people. Maybe give them a call in the morning, as they may already have other bookings to Amed.

    Perama's website: :: Perama Tour & Travel - Bali ::

    The service from Candidasa or Padang Bai to Amed is shown at the bottom of the page.

    PS. Bargain for a better price. They're usually amenable.
    Madness takes its toll. Please have exact change.

    Thank you!

    matsaleh, I've seen that website and this option, but the problem was the 2 minimum people...

    Maybe I'll rent a car or motorcycle or maybe the bus... I don't know yet! I'm terrible!

    Thanks a lot!

    Default Perama

    It's worthwhile checking with Perama as if there is only one person they will still take you but charge extra. If another person joins (which happened to me on reaching Padang Bai) the extra I had paid was promptly refunded. Great service.
