Just a thought here.

It amazes me how a few expats can post so much stuff all the time. Like, do these people spend all their time on the internet (and this wonderful forum)?

How do they manage that? Beats me. I can't afford the telephone bills, let alone the time to write so much while I'm involved with my own cultural duties.

This is not a criticism, per se, but shouldn't more of us be spending more time giving something back to the Bailinese for all the gifts they've given to us?

I guess I could be wrong about that.

I couldn't agree more about "giving back to Bali." Maybe you could give this recent post a read...it's all about just that...giving back to Bali.

Maybe this forum, talking about Bali, and our thoughts, feelings, well and unwell being, is giving something too. 8)

Internet is culture too. This forum is a (very small) part of Balinese culture too.

I think most of the expatriates gave more that what can we imagine. In this forum, if you try to see more clear, they (expatriates) made advertisement about Bali and try to save Bali from "bangkrut" situation about tourism. Please check more in another topics. So..., they give something to Bali, right?
