Since your first posting Jimbo I have made an observation of my own re forum participation........
Quote Jimbo ........
"Isn't it amazing how people come into the forum, post a lot for a while and then disapear never to be heard of or at least very little.
Why is that. Have they got what they need and once having obtained it disapear or do they run out of things to talk about or do they simply move on to other parts of their lives"
If you follow the responses to Jimbos earlier posting not ony do some responses get ignored, the whole topic is railroaded!! ........
For me perssonally this Forum is about as close as I get to Bali between holidays so get a kick out of the chatter. I have tried to participate reguarly as suggested by Jimbo but feel that there is no acknowledgement, or the topic changes mid stream.
Am I making a valid point or having a bad day? Do any other participants feel their "two bobs worth" is invalid?
Maybe I am not alone Jimbo hence the "move on" scenario may be true.
Any comments?

Hi Paul M
It's quite simple, mate. There are literally thousands of forums out there on the internet. Not everybody sticks to the one they love the best - in case there's another one, maybe "better".
Isn't that amazing? If you follow the responses to Jimbos earlier posting not ony do some responses get ignored, the whole topic is railroaded!!
All I would suggest is keep on checking out the "chatter" on this one.
And one other little point: some of us who live here are married to very slow dial-up connections. Indonesia has timed calls, as well. We have to pay not only for our ISPs, but how long we're using the telephone. Broadband here is only for the "rich". (A dream for me.)

Paul, I don't agree totally that your posts are ignored. I believe people read them and take them in. Maybe there is no response needed. I find myself reading a post and then all the responses only to find I agree with the respones. I don't see much use in adding "I feel the same" or maybe I should, what do you do in this case. I have only ever been on two forums so I am not up with the ettequite (spelling  ).Originally Posted by Paul M
If the topic changes and you want to bring it back to the original theme then you should jump in and post or go with the flow. After all it is a forum and it is only as good as the members who participate. :o

Thank you Sanurian and Tina, your points are well received. I am new to the Forum arena and assumed that at may run a little differently. At least I know that someone has read my postings heard afterall!
No further replies needed by me.
