Hiring a car

Hello to all,

in december, when we come to Bali for holiday we want to rent a car with driver/without driver.

Please tell me, what are the actual costs - for example including fuel.

Got back on Saturday, we rented a Toyota Avanza, 4 - 6 seats current model for one month.
Cost 3.6 million Rup including insurance. Fuel depends on how much driving you intend to do, when we were doing a reasonable amount of driving including a bit of traveling we were using around 250k per week (6,000 / litre).

The prices now were for 10 days for a suzuki jeep (hard ride, cheap on gas) 1.2 Million. On the other hand if you shop around a bit you can get a nice 4 seater Suzuki Kumina (some such twee name - 4 seater/door, nice ride, middle gas - I prefer the smaller cars here cause there aint no room for the big bastards) anyway I got that for 1.6 million for the month. Hope that helps - don't forget your international drivers license. Got stopped today and the polizi was disappointed that I had it - guess he thought Xmas was coming early.
