And the whole question is: are we really supposed to shave the planet...?
Here in the east we are very civilized and have organized it to only rain at night. I guess the locals are more earnest with there supplications to the gods.
I wake up every morning to a lovely cool breeze blowing off the ocean and everything has been washed clean overnight and it smells wonderful - jasmine, bananas, salt and of course eggs and bacon frying to go with my Bali Kopi.
Most of Europe is under a thick blanket of snow with mean temperatures around -3 (that's why they call it "mean")
Life is tough here in the east... :?
weather chaos here ... very cold, storm ...
my hushabnd and i habitualy we walking around some parks near our home ... about 10.000 steps ... and today just a half of our portion ... it´s very nice to see snow all round, but i think i do it with happiness to interchange with you overthere in Bali : Rainy and warm, ooh i love it...

Looking on a surfing website that gives rain an wind forecasts for 10 days, we are in for rain here in Bali until Friday and strong winds Thursday, Friday an Saturday. Only good thing in the wet season is driving around is easier as there is way less traffic. Back luck it belted down this morning as it was my kids first day back at school after the New Year break, heaps of traffic @ their school in Denpasar..... :( Right now I am having a foot reflexy in Kerobakan and you could hear a pin drop...no traffic. Afer the school run/work commute, nobody is going out now
No reason hate hate hate the rain, this weather is miserable...I had to cancel outdoor exercise program fm last Saturday till now.
Relax don't worry be happy...
And the biggest MmmotorMmmouseMmmuppet on Bali said it will be like this til April...
Enjoy your stay Noodles! (D*mn...to me as well...)

Hehe....various versions in here, January one month only that I heard

It can rain until April but January and February tend to be the wettest months.
It used to be that the rainy season was considered October - April but it seems to be getting shorter and shorter. Not a good thing considering the shortage of water. You should be happy it is raining... I am sure you would rather that than only having the water turned on a few times a week for a few hours, like happens in Lombok!
