Can I buy a SIM card at the airport? If so, in which shop?
And when I take a taxi, it will drive me to my destination at once, I don't have to share, and go from one place to another, right?
-Quiet morning in BKK, people are in a festive mood, the streets are 'dressed up': precelebration of the King's birthday at the 5th. And I just woke up.-

Hi
I have never seen a phone shop when I have arrived but there might be one.
Yes once you pay for your taxi it will take just you to your destination.
You will have no trouble getting a SIM once you get to your destination or ask the taxi to stop for a few minutes. Telephone counters are every 50 yards or so. It is worth asking the staff at the counter to register the SIM for you as they are used to it can do it quickly and easilly.

Bali has Circle K rather than 7/11. They don't sell SIMs but you will see all the phone counters everywhere.

Our posts crossed each other, M. Buying a SIM card is usually the first thing I do after landing. But good to read I can get a SIM in no time.

To get a taxi go to the right when you exit arrivals and there is a window where you can prepay a fixed amount for the taxi. The amount is according to your destination.
Gee an efficient and organised service at the airport. Who would have thought?
The price for SIM card for ur ref.
Brand - "XL" SIM card package RP8,000-10,000(rp2000 credit inc.)

Relax don't worry be happy...
From the airport you get an 'airport' taxi if you use one from within the terminal and pre-paid. You have no choice in this. With regards to a SIM card, the closer you are to the main tourist area, the more you will pay. If you get your taxi to stop somewhere on the way from the airport and buy at least rp50,000 of pulsa you will probably not pay anything for the SIM card itself.Originally Posted by noodles
If you are travelling light and can be bothered to save a couple of dollars you can call Blue Bird Taxi, + 62 361 701 111, and get them to pick you up just outside the main entrance to the airport.
The Blue Bird Taxi number is definitely one for your speed dial.
