That's very nice, Jimbo. I'm sure your wife is excited but jittery at the same time when you're both in it that something might triger you to just throw caution to the wind and press on that gas...and there you go!! All speedy - all hells break loose...
But on the other hand. It is an exhilarating and "I'm on top of the world" kind of sensation. Be careful and send some photos here.
I've been on Maserati (blue), Jaguar ( blue or burgundy?), Porche (red, and of course not the classic one as I think they only come in silver; who belonged to my girlfriend's boyfriend in Singapore), the latest Mercedez 4 seaters Convertible but guess what? This friend of mine went to the gymn one afternoon at broad daylight. When he came out of there, the thought he just forgot where he had parked it. Went round and round looking for it and realised what happened. The car was nowhere to be found. Yep, guys...it was gone!!! The car was stolen!!! That was just last year. As you can see, each country has its pros and cons. Well, here in Italy or even France, this is one of the things that happens when one has a luxurious car. Believe me, it's not fun to have it at the same time as it creates paranoia. And... last but not least, the classic red Ferrari. A friend of my husband has the silver one but it's just not the same. In fact he's a timid guy and asked me to accompany himin his car when my husband and I tried to hitch him to a lady friend of ours and this lady had to go in my husband's car instead. Rather strange... You meet these kinds of nerdy Italian guys yet they can be loaded but unfortunately, too "mama's boys" seem to be the case all the time.
