Probably the best one is "Balitravelforum" lots of good info there...a few dick#@s but in the main quite informative

Thanks, Spicy. Yes, this is a good one. The only downside is that everybody can add/edit the pages. I was looking for something from the official tourism board (like in SG they have the STB website, which is very informative).

To Goldminer, yes, I agree that the Bali Travel Form is a great site, but I feel it would be a bit too 'advanced' for first timers. It's like if you are a beginner in English, you just don't start reading Hamlet. Unless you want to feel frustrated :) But hey, thanks.

It has some interesting information about Bali. Maybe good for first-timers.

Hi Zoyra, I'm only a newbee here too, but I did find a lot of good touristy info on tripadvisor, go to the bali forum. Most of the advice comes from lovely ladies so no di***heads there.
