Bali Virgin's First Time Experiences - Any Interest?

If you've responded to your salacious side in following this admittedly provocative heading then, I'm afraid, you are going to be sadly disappointed - as you should be :( .

If, on the other hand, you were following your undying quest for knowledge then you are exactly right :!:

By "Bali Virgin" I refer to myself (and of course the best woman on the planet) who will be journeying to the island - for the first time ever, towards the end of this month via Singapore (3 day stopover). Now it has been suggested in this forum that a travel loge might be of interest and that, in a nutshell, is my question:

Would a daily/bi-daily report of our impressions, likes/dislikes be of any interest to this forum?

Having been world travelers now for most of the last 30 years we are not completely without baggage (the mental type) and our thoughts and views will be correspondingly "jaded" but always fair.

If you think that this would be interesting then I would appreciate your suggestions as to format, the final choice will be ours.

Alternatively, if not then please also say so - we will have other things to do :lol:

You might be in for a shock, hopefully a good one. Be careful jumping out of your bath, still wet, and turning on the TV.

I don't know about others here but a daily BIAR, (Before I Arrive Report), from you and the "best woman on the planet", is something I can do well without.

I wish you both superb experiences on Bali and hope they open your eyes.

For me, no, and frankly, the idea of you wasting time in Bali at internet cafés making your daily or bi-daily reports says a lot to me of what you’ll likely be taking back from Bali, which undoubtedly is nothing more than what you’ve offered here thus far. :roll:

Sorry Roy I have to disagree here, I think a 'virgins' impressions would/might make for good reading especially for new comers to the forum and maybe for those of us who have been travelling to Bali for many years. I think if Markit wants to do his reports then those that want to read it can, those that don't, then don't read it.

Hell look at all those other JBRs on forums that are informative if you want to know where the closest Circle K is or where you buy the cheapest pair of jeans. Markit, I think, may put a interesting slant on it and hey it is just his opinion.
