I would buy a new one, they don't cost that much more and they hold there value, much like everything else in Indonesia
I'd like to buy a new bike soon too. I don't like Tigers. Does anyone know of any cruiser style bikes available (except Harley)? Anyone ever seen a Hyosung in Indonesia?
@ LATAH...if you mean that chinese made 250cc look alike HD they are available...
but it's probably the only make that actually loses value (alot) within the first two years...after the third year they don't lose that much in value since it's broken down gathering rust...parts available-none, aftersales service-none.
You could check Bursa Moge - Sarana Jual Beli Para MOGE Mania
for some other cruiserstyle bikes, all kind of bikes on there..from a 400cc yamaha dragster to a 1500cc honda goldwing
don't read between the lines..i think the words are clear enough...:)
Thanks Gilbert, yeah I did mean the Hyosung HD wanna be, but thought they were made in Korea.
I know nothing about bikes but bought a cheap second hand Hyosung in Cambodia about six years ago...I just wanted a cheap ride. Never had a problem with it and liked it so much that I bought a similar second hand Hyosung in Australia. I'm not in Aus much and again just wanted a cheap ride when I'm there. That was about four years ago and again, I've never had a single problem with it. Both bikes are ridden constantly by friends in both countries when I'm not there. Both do get a bit a bit of surface rust but they are both parked uncovered by the sea. Funny thing is that a few friends in Cambo have Honda Rebels and Nighthawks that are constantly in the shop...while my old Hyosung just keeps rolling along.
I'm not an enthusiast and don't know diddley squat about bikes...I just want cheap ride and feel comfortable on a cruiser. Given I've never had a problem with either of the other two Hyosungs, I'd be happy to pick one up here...if anyone knows where I might be able to find a cheap one.
Thanks for the link - I'll keep checking it.
whoopss...I'm sorry, got my makes mixed up..I actually meant the Ruby Kaiser, instead of the hyosung..
will keep an eye out for you, and if I hear anything about a hyosung I will let you know :)

I recommend check chain and sprockets, swing arm & wheel bearings as the last few bikes I have hired needed these replaced. If a bike bike is still under hire purchase it generally has to have its services so that is a good but new is best.
