Thread: Money Tips... How much it to much, enough or not enough??

Hi all,

Recently while in Bali, I was trying to understand what was worth tipping, and how much to tip... I think I must have tipped to much on every occasion, however, I kept working it back to local (AUS) $$'s and thinking that is what I think it was worth.

However, When you live in Bali, what should you tip for things?

Is 10,000 or 100,000 way to much if you enjoyed your dinner?

Look at your bill. If it has ++ on it this means the tip has already been demanded and taken. If this is the case give nothing.

I agree with the above post, for a meal for two rouglhy 150-200 IDR i usually give 10,000 except if 21% has been given however if a specific staff member has been way above & beyond I have no hesitation tipping 20,000 direct to them.
