Do you have problems with the cooling of your PC or laptop in Indonesia, or with the humidity? Thanks.

I DID...
not only in Indonesia though... anywhere I am when I put my laptop on my lap for quite a while..
Then I bought the cooling pad... it helps!
Maybe you should get one for yourself too, eh

Depends a little on where in Bali you'll be*.

But "heating" and "humidity" alone shouldn't be a problem. What you need to watch out for is fungus and various insects trying to make a home through any openings in your equipment (like headphone sockets, USB holes, etc). Wasps and ants, in particular. I am not joking.

* I lived near Ubud for a while with my PCs - maybe the seasons at the time weren't the best, but I found that fungus there was a bigger problem than where I live now (Sanur).

I did have some cooling problems with my dell laptop. My harddisk was making a lot of noice after it was on for about 4 hours, but it was after 6 months in bali. I opened my laptop and cleaned the inside, the cool fans etc. and now its working fine again.
Unix is user-friendly, it's just picky about who its friends are
