It is somewhat of a surreal feeling to acknowledge what has just transpired.

I would say that this day will be writtin as one of the greatest days in the history of the US.

Roy, please pm me the account details of foundation you wish your wager to go to. I'm glad we had this bet, and thrilled that I lost it.

The world will be a better place for at least the next four years, of that I am certain - and the US will forever be a greater nation than it was yesterday.

In Ubud, we are all somewhat speechless, numb, and close to shock. For the majority of Americans, our voice has finally been heard, and it is resounding across the whole world.

Typical of the entire Obama campaign, since, day one, two years ago, is his personal message that was sent to his supporters even before he made his public acceptance speech:

No doubt some 50 million or more other Americans got this same e-mail. And that’s fine with me. As I see it, this is the first and only time a campaign contribution, along with a little campaigning effort by me has ever been acknowledged.

That he ends his campaign with the same professionalism and class, is only a subtle indication of what is to come in the months, and years, ahead.
