Valid question. After checking their websites and their Facebook pages, their is still no answer to this one. They have missed the obvious. We can even get an invite to their opening party on the 11th of November.
"Across from Green School" is the closest to an address that I can find.

I thought so, too, at first. However, if you dig deep enough, there are instructions on how to get there. What I couldn't find is what time on 11-11-11.

The party is located in the village of Sibangkaja, about 5 minutes south of central Mambal. If you're familiar with where the Green School is, it's in the same village, but on the east side of the Ayung River. If you can, check it out in Google Maps or something similar to make sure you get a visual of where you're going.

If you're coming from the south, the easiest route is to take Jalan Gatot Subroto to Jalan Ahmad-Yani (heading north) which then turns into Jalan SibangKaja. As this name transition happens, you'll be going down a hill, crossing a bridge, then going back up a hill. In about one kilometer, you will formally enter the village of Sibangkaja and there will be a sign on the right side of the road welcoming you.

Directly across from this sign is a massive banyon tree. You can see it from a distance and is definitely the largest tree around. You will take a left down this road. If you come to a petrol station on your left, you've gone too far. Turn back around, drive about 300 meters and the turn will then be on your right. Again, just look for the largest tree around.

There will be ballons or some other visual indicator to say "the party is here!".

    Default Opening

When checking the Facebook link I found that the party/grand opening start at 7.30 pm 11.11. There's also an itinerary for the rest of the evening.

There is a map on the website: Big Tree Farms Party - Map
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat drinking beer all day.

I believe the all-day open house starts at 11:11 am. And there is a party that night that starts maybe around 7:00 or 7:30. Not sure about the party since we aren't going. But we are going to wander down for the open house on Friday.

Twice I've taken friends to the Green School Tour as part of the never-ending free tour guide services we all offer to our visiting friends. And I enjoyed it both times. I come away from those buildings just feeling all gooey inside from seeing the artistic beauty and thinking of the imagination it would take to conceive these splendid structures.

The school has a long way to go to get itself nestled into an accepted international curriculum but their idealism and hope for the future is inspiring and they are only four years old. Instead of grousing and complaining they're doing something about the planet and its problems. Good on 'em.
