Is that the guide put out by Hello Bali? If so, I'd be wary of the review..it's thoroughly unreliable and, how shall we say, bought. That said I've only heard wonderful things about Bale Sutra, and from a variety of trustworthy sources.

For my money, the best Chinese food in Bali is at Feyloon in Renon, but that closed last night. Fortunately it's to re-open in Kuta on 15 Dec.

Worst Chinese food...well for the price, the shocking Tenaga Naga in the Sanur Hyatt, where I had the misfortune of going with a friend who owns a bunch of Chinese Restaurants of some standing in Melbourne and Auckland. He said it was the worst Chinese food he'd eaten anywhere.
