Warung Kolega offers a wide range of Javanese Cuisine, all presented in the typical Warung/Buffet Style. You basically chose what you'd like to eat and pay after finishing your meal.
The quality is A-grade and definitely outstanding, attracting Locals and Bulehs alike; while the pricing is surprisingly low.
A typical full plate sets you back around 7-9.000 Rp if mainly vegetable, tahu or tempe. Meat or fish are a bit more expensive, with a price mark around Rp.12-20.000. Es Teh is Rp.2000 per glass, Es Jeruk Rp.4.000.
Do you know why Warung Murah in Jalan 66 is calling itself cheap, if everything there costs at least double?
Make sure you check out Warung Kolega in Jalan Petitenget, when they re-open again end of October. It's an extra-ordinary steal!
Be aware though, that it's a packed place around 11.30-13.00, when lunch time kicks in.
