Salmonella and botulism can both be contracted from undercooked meat, particularly chicken.

Apologies to the moderators. When I previewed and viewed my message, the image showed as a link, which is what I intended. How was this modified?

Charlie,
she's on a bit of a nasi boycott at the moment which explains the pasta. While she was shovelling down her 4th strip of bacon the other day, I was explaining Babi Guling to her (she's 6, memory & attention span of a mud skipper), she became very excited by the prospect of a new and different way to consume pig. Could you suggest a place?

There is a nice (and cheap) Ayam Goreng Place a bid hidden southeast behind the corner Jl.Legian/Jl.Dhyana Pura. You can enter through the small Gang next to the Arabic Restaurant (what's the name? Guess they closed already, no wonder, not even having beer on the menu ;-) ) about 10 metres down east on Jl.Legian. Or take the first small Gang left on Dhyana Pura, right after Bahiana, before the 'Laugh T-Shirts' Shop.

The Pa who cooks there is the Chef of the WaterBom park and the Ayam Goreng is simply heavenly. Costs Rp.7.000 for once portion with the usual veggies, nasi and hot sambal. They have tasty Nasi Goreng as well as Cap Cay. Small Menu only, but well worth it.

Only opens after sunset for about 2-3 hours, quickly sold out...

;-)
Cheers,

Chris
