Tommy, I take personal exception to your title, "monkey style." I find it racist and demeaning.

But in case you can't, I'll spell it out for you. I don't like the term monkey or "monyet" associated with Indonesian people.

The title of your post was "Vespa Wars Monkey-style." You can take it from there, re-read your own post, and go from there. Any more enlightenment will cost you some serious rupiah. :!:

The reference "Monkey-Style" was indeed a reference to my writing-style and therefore if anyone it would be myself.. not the idiots at the Cargo. FYI, the woman that handled the shippment was working "on the side" without the knowledge of her boss using his company-name, so she weren't exactly a SAINT, but sure, i know you love to defend those you "think" are right though you don't have any facts. I don't know what the hell is wrong with you nowadays. You keep misinterpreting my posts into something negative and usually like some sort of an "attack". Do you feel threatened somehow by me?

Why on earth would i come out and call indonesians monkeys or throw around racial slurs when i have a fiancee who is balinese, i'm a part of her family, i have tons of indonesian friends all over bali and i've lived there 1/3rd of my life (give or take a few years more than you my friend). I'm not sure why you're looking for trouble that isn't there, but you've sure come to the WRONG place for that. If you can't interpret my posts correctly, please don't bother to reply.

Point taken Bert. The people i know, friends and family in Bali they don't care about racial slurs or talk about monkeys simply because the conception of "racial slurs" hardly exist. It's a western concept that i simply don't care about anymore. In Bali, people can call me crazy whitey (Bugil, Bule Gila) as a joke and i call them Asli Sanggeh or Bangli (meaning they're from monkey forest or rumah sakit jiwa in bangli) and we all laugh about it and move on. Noone cares or takes it personal coz it's not like in the US or the West... thank Ida Sang Hyang Widhi for that! Humour is what makes the world spin and troubles centrifuge out in to the vast darkness we call space. Shit, if i'd get a rupiah for everytime i've been called a monkey or bule (whitey) by friends in bali i'd be a millionar now! This doesn't mean that i'm somehow being rude to people i've never met or rude in general, this is the talk amongst friends.. i'm almost certain this post somehow will be mis-interpreted too, but frankly i don't care.
