Love this one Bert...wonder what the tamu think of this...dont know about Harry dreaming...it was a nightmare for some. Gotta laugh though...this is the REAL BALI...see my latest post...this should give 'em something to talk about. By the way was that a Landrace pig ?...he...he...love it...G...( who got the whistle ?) my Mother told me that the only part of a pig you can't eat...is the whistle....

Just as I thought Bert...your PIG POST has done it.....the kids across the street have reacted.....but I bet they like roast pork and apple sauce,gravy with a dash of white wine and capers and just a hint of cream, sauteed baby potatoes...and fresh garden peas....and of course PORK CRACKLE....YUMMY....Geez, I'm hungry gotta go and buy Nasi Bungkus........G.....

PREPARATIONS FOR A NGABEN CEREMONY

for the pig! I enjoyed looking at the other pictures on your web site, and wanted to answer this post, pig for pig, but I can't figure out how to post pictures here. The one I wanted to show you is also a ceremonial pig and his handlers, but whereas your gentlemen are casually attired and your pig is as naked as the day he was born, in my picture, man and beast alike are decorously decked out in sarongs. Just had a look at your pictures, they are great! Thanks for posting the link.

If you want to upload your pictures to this forum you should use the [Img] option. Somewhere in the body of your message you should type a string indicating the location of your picture. Be sure you type everything exactly (including difference between small and capital characters!)

for instance:

(img)http://www.wonderfulbali.com/images/nicepic.JPG(/img)

only you should us square brackets [ ] instead of ( )

OK, now for the stuff I do have a clue about. As for Harriet, she is resting comfortably but has been heavily sedated and is not available for comment at this time. Full recovery is expected. (BTW, on the Harriet thread, you said I "promised"! Did not! Read it again...I always tie my nooses with slip-knots! :P )

C&W update: Well, I'm working on a couple of things. One is called "A self-made fool", and the other is "Last night I was out feeling my oats but this morning I'm feeling my age." Neither is ready for prime-time yet!
