Hi, Does anyone know where I can go to watch American football in Bali? Which bars have the necessary satelite, etc? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
I have watched some American "Superbowl" at Krakatoa, Jln Legian, toward Seminyak....
Good Luck...

Naughty Nuri's Warung in Ubud (directly opposite the Neka Museum) is a good place. Brian (co-owner) is a die hard Jets fan and me...a die hard Giants fan. The hardest part about moving to Bali was giving up my season tickets!
On a similar note...
Does anyone know how I might be able to get a satellite hookup in my house in Ubud (I am moving in this November)? Is this even possible? And if so, will it cost me buckets of money? I would really be interested to watch NBA, NHL, and MLB games...anyone know what my options might be? Thanks...
Pretty simply, on arrival, and settled in, just call Indovision at 0215819988 and off you go.
We pay about 3.5 million a year (for the premium service), which includes ESPN and a host of other stations.
No, it isn’t cheap, but for us it's worth it...otherwise one is relegated to Indonesian broadcast stations…and I hope I need comment on that.
Roy, those numbers and that info are like gold to me! Thanks! I went to check out the Indovision site and things look good to me. I was a little dissapointed that they didnt have any special sports packages like we do here in New York like the NBA Season Pass or something...I mean how many Knicks games do they really show throughout the season on ESPN? Anyway though, I guess its just a sacrifice that must be made in order to live somewhere really special. I would have to assume though, that aside from the monthly package cost that is published on the website there are going to be major installation and equipment costs. I think I read somewhere something around 6 Million rupiah? Am I in the ballpark here? Oh, and one more thing, do these guys have any competitors, or are they basically the monopoly? I know in Jakarta there are lots of options, but I guess I would imagine in Bali its Indovision country. Anyway, thanks for the info on this whole thing to begin with...
