I have been keeping an eye on a friend's house within a complex in Kuta (or is it Denpasar?) You go out the back entrance of Carrefour onto Jalan Glogor Carik, then north a Km or so. Today, the electric meter is beeping because the credit is low - it must drive neighbours crazy. Does anyone know where to go to buy some credit for it, and what the process is. Do you need any identification or meter number or anything? I will be back there Friday, so any advice will be very helpful.
Yes, you need the meter number.
Where we live in Canggu you can buy pulsa listrik at many places including koperasis, indomart.
Once you pay you are given a piece of paper which has a code (12 digit?) on it that you enter into the meter using the keypad
hope this helps
Phil
Not sure if other banks have this service buy we brought our pulsa from the BCA ATM's in the last place we were staying at. You'll get a print out with your number on it to punch in
From what I can remember you first Select Lain Lain, then Pulsa (or something like that), then Pre-paid PLN, enter your 14 Digit number, then how much you want to top up.
Ok, the BCA ATM works fine. In their menus you might be tempted to try "Payment" - "PLN", but as you say, you go to "Other" then "Recharge" or something. Then it asks for a 12 digit meter number - I only had 11 digits and thought I would come unstuck - but it was fine. Thanks for all your help.
