Anyone can recommend where I can get my watch repair :?:
After 6 days in a local place they told me; we don’t know what’s wrong with it.
thanks
had the same problem a few weeks ago with a couple of watches of mine...just changing the battery seemed to be a mayor problem for the guy. Didn't even had the tools to open the bach, so when he pulled out his hammer and screwdriver I screamed that's enough buddy...I will go elsewhere.
Ended up with sending them by insured package mail to NL.
Depending on make and model of your watch, it might be better to just send it to a reputable shop abroad.
I just hope your watch is not in worse state now then it was before.
friendly greetings...gilbert.
don't read between the lines..i think the words are clear enough...:)

My question is, do you even need a watch in Bali? :)
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat drinking beer all day.
actually one doesn't need a watch...because locals use the 'jam karet' or flexible time for appointments :) .
I just feel naked or out of balance without a watch on my wrist..

I don't own a watch but I do need to know the time, to get up, get Martin to school and to pick him up. But never mind jam karet... I know someone who is on hari karet right now :roll:actually one doesn't need a watch.

Hello Lumumba,
What kind of watch is it and where do you stay?
I now a small watch shop in Jl. Canngu-Kerobokan and the owner is very good in repairing watches. I gave him already some watches for repair. He even repaired a "Swatch" which was given to a Swatch shop in KL and given back to me unrepaired. Cause the Swatch shop declared it unrepairable. But this guy could do it.

Hi Wepro
I am not far from kerobokan. Swiss watch “Continental”, cost me $450 about 6 yrs ago and never had any problems until now.
Please let me have the full address and I will take it there. What sort of direction if I enter Kerobokan Rd coming from Kuta.
Thanks
Follow the street heading for Tanah Lot. The shop is very small, its called " Pusat Studio, Servis Jam" and is located at Jl. Raya Canggu No 98. If you come from Kerobokan its on the rh side just after a small Bank sign "Sebelah Bank Sinar Tibubeneng". Its about 100 m before Jl. Pantai Brawa turns off left from Jl. Raya Canggu.
Good luck and I hope you will find it. BTW, the owner don't speak english.
