Just a thought to confirm your smugness...The HIGH here tomorrow is -25 Celcius!!! Factor in the windchill, it will be -45. Remember that word windchill? Think of me while you're draining the dregs of your Large Bintangs. Heathens!

+36 in the shade only there is none. I am going home to +4 and when I return in 10 days it will start a steady rise to +50 or more.
Such is life :-)

Snowed here yesterday for about 10 minutes. Then about 60 F that afternoon.
On sunday we had a blizzard that recorded the biggist snowfall in NYC history 26" ....it was very neat
Jamie, I caught that on CNN and couldn't believe my eyes! Lucky you!
Today in Ubud our first rain in many, many days...a welcomed respite from the heat. Last Saturday I dropped some friends off in Benoa for a hash run and I couldn't believe how oppressively hot it was there.
Jimbo, in SA do you ever have humidity with that heat, or is it always a nice dry "desert heat?"
The "tough days" for me are when it's about 90 degrees (f) and about 85% humidity with no breeze. I call those, "three mandi" days! :D
Wasn't the latest hash-run at Serangan? Not that i ever run with them but i know a few who do... :)
Three hash groups in Bali now Tommy. This run (in Benoa) was the Ubud hash. "A drinking club with a running problem"...no thanks, but that's just me as many others really enjoy it.
It is always very dry otherwise it would not be bearable.
Arrived home this morning after a 21 hour journey. Had 5 bacon sandwiches washed dowm with Rose Champagne.
My children bought me a set of 1 litre wine glasses for Christmas. They take a full bottle leavinh 2" space at the top. I have just filled it up readt for my wifes finest cooking.
AHHHH Bliss.... but only for 10 days :-)
Regards Jimbo
Reading my spelling on the last post you can see I am already halfway down the glass
