Sounds like another ploy to me, no tidal waves maybe a few wind waves thats all

I wonder how the tidal wave came about if this is the case? There has only been three mag.5 to 5.6 quakes in Indonesia this last week and they were no way near bali.
Richard ...........Bert
Do you know anything more about this?
Gloria goodwin is in a big panic over there CCF (crisiscare foundation) I'm so far away in calif.got this email yesterday morning from bali.
Please let me know................thanks

As I said before there has been no particularly bad flooding and certainly no tidal waves in Kalibukbuk Lovina as far as I know and I live pretty close to the beach.
Sometimes at this time of the year you get small and I mean small types of hurricanes, which I used to call wily willies when living in Africa and they can rip your roof of your house and do quite a bit of damage, but they don’t go far, usually about as far as a small street and then disappear.
Can confirm this, just checked in at Richard's this afternoon and wedding pictures were taken there.Save and sound at Rambutan Lovina
The only disaster was caused by Bert here, he killed my microdrive and with this maybe 400 images from Hong Kong and Bali 2 hours ago
I'm on his laptop now, while he is configurating one of the laptops I brought for HFF, the other one had obviously not survived in my suitcase, will check his directory for revenge now, while he is sitting clueless beside me :!:
best regards
Thorsten

We have a house on the beach in Singaraja. The waves were rather high there and our kitchen was flooded. First time that this has happened in my 16 years in Bali, but no one was injured. While we were driving up north from the ferry, we did come across a lot of problems with the road due to landslides.
