Some everyday pics...

Hello all..
Instead of concentrating on Diving-pics i decided to make more albums which i will update as soon as i have something intresting to share.

First new album is Piaggio-related stuff, the Vespa bengkel where i stop by a few times a week. I sold my honda supra and bought and 1965 piaggio vespa super 150 which is being deconstructed, serviced, burned, repainted and reconstructed. Nice people.

Second will be dedicated to music. the greatest passion of all to me... A few pics from practising gender wayang with the talented friend of mine, pak ketut. I will update with some more pics from home where we also practise/play gender wayang and rindik. At rare occassions we bring out the kendang (drum) and my girlfriends mom nyuling (play the flute). :)

Third album will be pictures from home... the dogs, the everyday things and the atmosphere.

How about if would create an extra website where expats could upload their pictures...

something like bali-expat-pictures.com or something...

Can I have your votes please ?

I already have this http://www.bali-pictures.com where the high hosting costs (in the netherlands) keep me from expandiing over 50mb but overhere hosting isn't that much so i could easily have a 100mb+ website where everybody could upload, and even do some business promotion... all for free ofcourse 8)

Nice pics Tommy, except for the "yummy" comment I might add.

Bert there are so many free stoarge sites for pics now I wonder if it would be worthwhile. Personally I use both Webshots & Photobucket & have access to several more. See what everyone else thinks though. Maybe we could all add links to our photos here if we want to share.

I got an SMS from Sheena & Gecko last night, they are getting ready to leave for Bali on Saturday...

I think Driver has mentione before that the dog's name is yummy, not that they are planning to eat it...

Glad to hear it was the dog's name. I had not seen the post where he mentioned it. I dont read the posts in all the branches of this site, mostly just this one.

Hope Sheena's job goes well. I heard about Gecko's reaction to a hailstorm, I can imagine it :lol:

I hope to catch up with them again when I go back.

:lol: yes. her name is yummy and i'm sure if we'd check her DNA it would turn out to be half ozzie-dingo and half-asian wilddog. the mom of yummy has the same kind of character but is much bigger. yummy is also very jealous at blacky (which is a female too). yummy goes nuts whenever sempol and blacky are together close to her... so yummy is placed by the gate and the others way back in the garden (without grass).

Sorry for the mix up. :oops: I remembered Berts earlier video link which I confess upset me terribly. My two dogs are Putih & Panther. Panther I know is astrange name for a dog but Made got him while I was in England & named him before I could object. Putih is all white & Panther all black, so they are Balinese style black & white!

Gecko was like he was stuck in the middle of an air raid, looking around, we were all laughing as he was just amazed & in shock, wondering what the heck was going on!
Gede told him we were stuck in one big freezer & that the ice blocks were falling on us, Gecko wanted to grab some hail to bring home, we just laughed!
They were just the loveliest couple, I was hoping to catch up atleast once more to talk about her teaching etc, it just went so fast. But I hope to keep in touch with them. We will probably be back in Bali early next year, we were hoping March, so we'll try to meet up with them then.
