Anyone have for sale, or know where to find a good quality LCD monitor geared towards graphics work (wide color gamut). Preferably an IPS panel type. 22" or larger.

Why not just buy a 27" iMac and be done with it? Excellent IPS screen plus you get a decent computer as well. (Note: I am neither a lover nor hater of Apple computers.)

There are several authorised Apple outlets in Bali. Base station is on Jalan Iman Bonjol (the main road between Kuta and Denpasar - LHS, maybe one km from Kuta). Carrefour shopping centre on Sunset Road has one. I'm sure there'd be one in Kartika Plaza (but don't quote me). Also in RTR (previously known as RIMO in Jalan Diponegoro - Denpasar).

RTR/RIMO has hundreds of computer shops in a three storied building. If you just want the monitor, chances are you'll find one there. If you're specifically searching for an IPS panel, I presume that you're already aware that there are several types (S-IPS, H-IPS, etc).

The two biggest LCD manufacturers on the planet are Samsung and LG. Brands with IPS panels include LG, Samsung, Hewlett-Packard, NEC, ViewSonic, Dell and all the rest. All of these (with the possible exception of Dell), can be found in RTR. Or, if not - someone can order you one from Jakarta/Surabaya.

I saw some amazing 24" Apple Displays at the Galleria... they were going for Rp8 juta. Which is a steal where I come from. Amazing quality, and you can't go wrong with Apple.

Find any IPS LCD but buy a calibration spyder. Now with the hight quality of screen, only calibration matter. Apple Led are too bright for photo works.
